Hi all. I've sent my app to apple 2 times. Both time rejected because: Quote:
First time app name: OS X Lion etc.. Second time app name: Mac OS X Lion etc.. Should i delete that "OS X" in the name? My app refers to Lion, but i can't call it Mac Lion, it sounds weird. Should i call it Apple OS X Lion, or should i just call it Lion? What if they want the copyright on it? Also, i've made some homemade logo "Mac OS X Lion" to place into my default.png image and other. Should i remove them too?

It seems exceedingly clear why your app was rejected. Can't you change it to XXXXXX for OS X Lion? E.g. If it's a reference guide, call it 'Reference Guide for OS X Lion". |

My guess is that they will. Maybe try adding the 'for' word there too, they seem OK with that. |

you should remove the logo that says Mac OS X Lion in your default as well. keypoint is you cannot start your app name with Mac OS X Lion GreatApp. GreatApp for Mac OS X Lion should be ok. |

Do check thoroughly for other section of your apps. I've been rejected twice last time because I put World Cup word as the app name. I changed to WC. resubmitted, just to be rejected again because there is a World Cup word in the About view. lol |
