Proving that every cloud has a silver lining, Derek Hough's injury enabled his partner, Shawn Johnson, to reunite with Mark Ballas on this week's "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars."
Absence obviously makes the heart grow fonder, because the former champions tangoed their way to a perfect score, in a performance that Carrie Ann called "seamless."
Because of the presidential election on Tuesday, all the "DWTS" contestants will receive a week of safety, with the Nov. 5 scores being added to next week's results to determine who will be sent home in the double elimination.
"Dancing with the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
